This once pristine saucer shaped pileus cloud is rapidly and ironically being cannibalized by the rising cumulus cloud below that created it. Pileus clouds usually don’t last very long. You and your camera must be ready.
It’s a clarifying experience when you wake up to see this on the whiteboard in your hospital room, and it’s probably time to make the most of the moments that remain.
